We couldn't do our work without the generous support of our donors. In fact, donations from individuals have always been our main source of income since we don't accept government funding.
$0.98 of every dollar donated goes directly to taking action for the people of New Mexico, either through direct help on our helpline or through filing lawsuits to protect their rights.

Maximizing mission efficiency
Nonprofits are often judged by their “mission efficiency” — a measure of how much donor money goes directly toward helping people versus overhead expenses like rent for a fancy office. In other words, it helps show donors how effectively a nonprofit uses its resources and how little is wasted.
That means $0.98 of every dollar donated to us goes directly toward funding programs.
This exceeds the standards of 65-75% set by the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance and Charity Navigator.​
